Resistance lowers the damage done to a player based on it's percentage. Some resistance applies only to physical damage or a certain element. If-so the damage type that it resists against will be specified. Unspecfied resistance applies to all damage types (except piercing). Specific and global resistances work together additively, meaning that 25% physical resistance with 25% resistance means 50% total physical resistance and 25% total resistance vs other damage types. These values would then reduce the damage by only half the amount indicated (50%>25%; 25%>12.5%)

Currently it is not known for certain how damage resistance is calculated, however a good estimate seems to be:

  1. DamageTaken = Damage*(1-TotalResistance/2)[Confirm] with a limit on TotalResistance value of around 150.
